Back, ow

My back currently hates me, and I have no idea why :P. Yeah, I was on my feet all day Saturday, but that's not unusual. But Sunday morning the left side of my lower back decided that it did not want to participate in its usual range of movements. Ibuprofen and yard work calmed it down until it was just giving me the occasional twinge Sunday night, and I thought that was that. But no; Monday morning, I woke to find my left side from my lower back to all the way down the back of my thigh proclaiming its displeasure. The kind of thing where you think you're okay, until you go to do something (like lean forward, get up from the floor, pick something up, etc.) and your muscles go "yeah no, not going for that, sorry." and the rest of your body seizes up in response. Except now I don't think the main problem is really my back, but a bit farther down -_-;;. I have not been sleeping differently, I have not done anything out of the ordinary, if I knew what had caused this I could do my best to avoid it but I have no clue.

By the end of the day yesterday it was tolerable again. So when I woke up it again this morning, I said "to hell with it" and went out to pull weeds for about 20 minutes. That got it down to the point where I could bear to sit in front of the computer. (Oh yeah, did I mention that? I couldn't sit down at the computer for most of the day yesterday. Not very fun when about 95% of my schoolwork is, y'know, typing.)

It seems that physical activity=good, while sitting or lying still=bad. I still want to know why.

What's Your Celtic Animal?

Your Animal is the Owl
You are brilliant, but you keep your insights to yourself. You tend to be a recluse.
Others are captivated and enchanted by you, but you hardly even notice. You have a powerful presence.

You are passionate and strident. After a while your personality can be a bit overwhelming.
You are quite misunderstood. You are more emotional and mystical than people realizes.

Okay, that's kinda eerie o_O
